The Boston Celtics closed out the 2024-25 regular season with an exciting 93-86 home win over the Charlotte Hornets. With the result, the Celtics end the year with a 61-21 record.

Boston has been locked into the No. 2 seed in the East standings for some time now, and so the outcome of Sunday's game has no bearing on the upcoming postseason. As a result the Celtics stat their top six star players, giving fans a closer look at the club's reserve players. Boston's bench took full opportunity, roaring ahead to a large lead in the early goings. Charlotte fought back, erasing a 21-point deficit in the second half. This led to a tight game down the stretch, with Boston prevailing in the end in part thanks to a 34-point outing from Payton Pritchard.

The playoffs begin for the Celtics next weekend. For now, let's recap the final game of the season by looking at the best photos from Boston's 93-86 win over the Hornets
