Plot Summary: "The Conspirator" is a period drama based on true events following the assassination of President Lincoln. I'm interested how this movie will be portrayed. IIR my history, Surrat was convicted because they used her house to hatch the conspiracy. This was the same logic they used to convict Dr. Mudd but they didn't hang him.

Excellent movie. Well made, McAvoy truly carries this movie and he is building a nice resume for himself.

Saw this movie last night. Very interesting, especially if you are even partial to history.

I thought it was a really good movie too. I didn't know much about that part of history, if the real trial was anything like the way it was portrayed she got absolutely railroaded.
