The Event versus No Ordinary Family

I have both The Event and No Ordinary Family on my DVR. With Amazing Race and Walking Dead coming to an end I want to start up a new show. Which one should I start (neither can be an answer).

I was expecting more from each of them but I'd give the edge to The Event.

I'd have to go with neither.

I watch both, but they are totally different shows. The Event tries to be super serious but fails most of the time. No Ordinary Family knows it's not exactly 24, the only problem is that it's a little too schmaltzy. Very much a family show, and they make it that way. The Event tries to be clever and doesn't do a very good job of it.

If I had to choose one, I might go with No Ordinary Family because it just isn't as frustrating as Flashforward, er, The Event.
