Anybody watching? I thought it was pretty good. Thought it was funny that the main character is from Arizona and mentioned Phoenix, Tempe and Avondale.

We're watching it. I like it so far but I do wonder how they'll keep it fresh. I think after awhile it's just going to feel like an hour long I Love Lucy episode.

Going to burn out REALLY fast. Has almost no longevity as a concept.

I'm digging it... but right now now it's definitely hovering more in the clever realm then actually laugh out loud funny. If it achieves both, it'll be great.

This. We like it the more it goes along. It sort of reminds me of the quirkiness of Pushing Daises.

i like it but i have to wonder where it will go once everyone finds out the big reveal that it isn't really the "good place" but is more of the "medium place"

Great finale. I so hope it gets renewed. Quality quality show.

Crap. I guess I missed a few episodes. I saw the first 3-4 then lost track when it was on. I don't get to watch a lot of tv. Usually when I come in she's already has something on. I enjoyed the show & thought it was something different.

damn... that was a great finale. I had some inkling once or twice about the twist, but it was always fleeting in my head. pretty damn good first season. will be sad if it doesn't come back.

Wife and I loved the finale. Didn't see it coming. Welcome back stranger.

The show must have really turned. I just got bored and quit a long time ago. So what made it better? Honestly, I thought it got canceled and went off air, too.

It was never bad. There was no turn.

Nah, it was never bad, per se, but it did get boring. Episodes backed up on the DVR, and it just fell of my agenda.

I felt like the show started off more clever than funny in the first couple episodes, but I dug the concept and stuck around and like most good shows, they found their legs around episode 3 or 4 and it became just as funny as it was clever.

Just started watching this on Netflix. I think it's pretty witty and there are some really funny lines that catch me off guard.

I'm only on episode 8, Adam Scott and the guys from The bad place just showed up and he casually delivered my favorite line of the show thus far:

"One final note: The dining car is at the very back of the train. It serves only room temperature Manhattan clam chowder and also; it's closed."

The wife and I really like this show. We were not sure it had much room to get better and we were wrong. The show got stronger as the season went along. Won't spoil the season finale but what a good ending to the season.

I absolutely love this show. I watched the S1 premiere and it picks up right where the 1st season left off. One of my favorite shows on TV.

I'm really surprised at all of the plaudits. When I jumped ship in season 1, no one liked it, and common consensus was that it was due for being cancelled.

Can someone explain what turned it around, without huge spoilers.

I always thought it got better and better as Season 1 went along. It started as clever, but not overly funny, then the funny met up with the clever in spades and to be honest, no... it's literally impossible to explain how it rocketed into the stratosphere of peak TV without MASSIVE spoilers.

Fair enough. Maybe I'll go back to it someday. Like you said, it was clever, but man, that schtick wore old FAST! I just got out before the funny met up with the clever.

It's my curse. I remember watching a certain show for a while, but in the second season, after a few episodes backed up on the DVR, gave it a punt. I'm told that it was RIGHT before Breaking Bad got really good lol
