I’m a week behind but I was laughing out loud every couple of minutes from the last episode I watched.

The characters and dialogue are great. But what’s really impressed me is the creative turns the show takes seemingly every episode. It seems to me that every time I think they’re rapidly approaching a dead end they find a clever pivot.

Fair enough. Maybe I'll go back to it someday. Like you said, it was clever, but man, that schtick wore old FAST! I just got out before the funny met up with the clever.

It's my curse. I remember watching a certain show for a while, but in the second season, after a few episodes backed up on the DVR, gave it a punt. I'm told that it was RIGHT before Breaking Bad got really good lol

Uh... breaking bad was GREAT from the first frame.

The last episode was train track dilemma, right? That was the funniest episode so far IMO.

Yeah, it was a really good show. Sometimes really good shows pile up on the DVR, and you never get around to them. That's what happened to me. I just happened to do it when the show kicked into high gear.

I'm not going to say every frame was great. Not at all. Like I said, I liked it a lot. I just tailed off in season two.

Yeah, dcr & I stopped watching in either season 2 or 3 (if you're still talking about BB)

Are you telling me there are people who have yet to watch all the episodes of BB? Holy cow, people !! Get to watching them. Great show.

Better Call Saul is an amazing prequel, too. Way better than I expected it to be.

Honestly, I don't know if we'll ever get back to it. It just failed to keep our attention. I know, we're weird...more evidence we belong together, lol.

It's such a fast watch--there is the overall arc, but it's also very streamlined in how they present their shorter B-stories.
