It's getting to be crunch time. This team has given us all much more than any of us expected, but now that the stretch is upon us, I'm feeling greedy.

A little nervous, because we aren't exactly cruising into October. The starters ERA in September is over 5.00, and a little giddy because we have some GREAT position players for the future.

Reynolds (bye-bye Tracy), Young, Upton etc are showing a very promising future. Soon the RJ and Ortiz contracts will be off the books. The future looks bright but right now I care about this race. I LOVE this team. I LIKE our chances against anyone in a series.

The Padres are playing good ball and I have a feeling they aren't going away until the end.

WE have to get the win tomorrow and the Dodgers are looming. I can't wait until we don't have to see them again this year. The Dodgers and the Rockies scare me.

LET'S GO D-BACKS!!!!!

My concern is Colorado in the last series on the road. I don't like this.

I think that ending the season with the Dodgers and then on the road in Colorado is just what the Dkids need to get them seasoned for the playoffs. If they managed to make it into the playoffs, they might be more battle-tested and ready to compete at the higher level in the postseason.

The Padres need to lose some freakin' games, this is getting ridiculous. Luckily, they have Colorado coming up, who should be hungry and play them tough, and then they finish with a 4 game series in Milwaukee, and as tight as the Central is, the Brewers should definitely be needing those games at that time.

Oh man, I didn't realize the Fathers played the Brewers to end the year. That is great!
