And if I don't mean it, it's too damn late, because this is the farthest I'm going...no more mocks for me! The big show (diminished due to today's loss) is mere hours away.

Okay, okay, without further eloquence:

-San Diego Chargers-Robert Gallery, OT, Iowa

-Oakland Raiders-Eli Manning, QB, ‘Ole Miss

-Arizona Cardinals-Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Pitt

-New York Giants-Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Miami, OH

-Washington Redskins-Vince Wilfork, DT, Miami

-Detroit Lions-Kellen Winslow, TE, Miami

-Cleveland Browns-Sean Taylor, S, Miami

-Atlanta Falcons-Roy Williams, WR, Texas

-Jacksonville Jaguars-Kenechi Udeze, DE, USC

-Houston Texans-DeAngelo Hall, CB, Va Tech

-Pittsburgh Steelers-Philip Rivers, QB, NC State

-New York Jets-DJ Williams, OLB, Miami

-Buffalo Bills-Will Smith, DE, OSU

-Chicago Bears-Tommie Harris, DT, Oklahoma

-Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Shawn Andrews, OT, Arkansas

-San Francisco Forty-Niners-Reggie Williams, WR, Washington

-Denver Broncos (from Cincinnati)-Ben Troupe, TE, Florida

-New Orleans Saints-Dunta Robinson, CB, USC

-Minnesota Vikings-Vernon Carey, OG, Miami

-Miami Dolphins-Lee Evans, WR, Wisconsin

-New England Patriots-Michael Clayton, WR, LSU

-Dallas Cowboys-Steven Jackson, RB, Oregon State

-Seattle Seahawks-Jonathan Vilma, ILB, Miami

-Cincinnati Bengals-Chris Gamble, CB, Ohio State

-Green Bay Packers-JP Losman, QB, Tulane

-St. Louis Rams-Antwan Odom, DE, Alabama

-Tennessee Titans-Darnell Dockett, DT, FSU

-Philadelphia Eagles-Karlos Dansby, OLB, Auburn

-Indianapolis Colts-Matt Ware, CB, UCLA

-Kansas City Chiefs-Rashaun Woods, WR, Oklahoma State

-Carolina Panthers-Mike Jenkins, WR, Ohio State

-New England Patriots-Justin Smiley, OG, Alabama

And here's how I think the rest of our mock could turn out...

-Arizona Cardinals-Kevin Jones, RB, Va Tech

-Arizona Cardinals-Igor Olshansky, DT, Oregon

-Arizona Cardinals-Nick Leckey, C, Kansas State

-Arizona Cardinals-Kendyll Pope, OLB, Florida State

-Arizona Cardinals-Rod Davis, ILB, Southern Miss

-Rod Rutherford, QB, Pitt

I like some of your predicitons, but we MUST get a CB in round #2.. we need somebody to come in a compete for a spot back there.. I like Jones, but I dont think we need to get a Rb that hi in the draft.. get a Rb in round #5,6 to compete and then maybe try to take a top notch one next years draft at 13th.

IMO, that's the attitude we cannot take into the draft with us. If someone of obviously higher-round talent falls to us at a certain spot, be it in the 2nd or the 6th, and they'll be able to help our team, we have to take them. No more drafting a CB because we HAVE to have a CB (ala Tom Knight).

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. You can't expect to plug all your team needs and holes in the draft. That's why I was so upset to underachieve in FA. THAT'S where you need to fill the specific holes. We had the money to fix the CB spot, and it was a CB-heavy FA period...and we got a nickle CB/Iffy starting CB. Not a great success, IMO.
