Wife and I have been waiting for this movie for awhile now...another one from Zach Braff...with a soundtrack that rivals the Garden State one.

Opens September 15th.

Zach Braff
Rachel Bilson
Casey Affleck
and more...

The trailer made the film seem pretty tired and predictable.

The guy starts to feel trapped by the course that his life seems to be taking with the girlfriend who is way-out-of-his-league, then he meets the way-out-of-his-league free-spirit (at a wedding, no less) and then he has to decide between the two worlds.

Doesn't seem to be much there from where I sit. If the trailer is any indication, anyway.

BTW, it's directed by Tony Goldwyn and co-written by Paul Haggis. Only acting credits for Braff.

And you can judge a lot by previews :)

Oh well, I am looking forward to it.

I think you made the typical mistake of judging a book by its cover...

Listening to Braff on Letterman last night, and Dave's own opinion...this is not a light-hearted romantic comedy...it's about a guy who is engaged to his girlfriend who's pregnant and he cheats on her I guess.

Pretty excited for this...Braff tends to wait for only quality projects.

The movie was fantastic...not at all what you expect...not a romantic comedy per say, but a great, true to life story of people going through life..

So many great performances...great music, etc.

Highly recommended...

I am hearing some REALLY good reviews from this movie.

Surprisingly it's not being showed in a lot of theatres, particularly Harkins. I think I'm gonna go try and catch this movie tomorrow morning, before the Cardinals game. There's a 10am showing close by.

This movie just came out on DVD, bought it for my wife for xmas...we watched it again today and I really enjoyed it a second time.

If you get a chance, rent it. A raw, real story of people and real life situations, not some hollywood romantic comedy old tired story.

Check it out!

Wow, I cannot believe I haven't seen this movie yet. This and Little Miss Sunshine are the next to be rented.

I liked it.

I wanted to punch Rachel Bilson in the face though.
