The Columbus Blue Jackets have acquired defenseman Adam McQuaid from the New York Rangers in exchange for fourth- and seventh-round draft picks this year. After adding two top forwards and a goaltender before the trade deadline, the Blue Jackets filled another need with the 32-year-old veteran blueliner. McQuaid has appeared in 33 games this season, with two goals and three assists.
