Sheriff's officials say an officer was part of a conversation with hospital emergency room workers that led the officer to believe overdose was a possibility after former pro baseball player Tommy Hanson was found unresponsive at a friend's home. Coweta County sheriff's officials said in a statement Wednesday that it will be up to medical personnel to determine what caused the 29-year-old Hanson to die Monday, one day after he was found unresponsive. The statement doesn't describe the conversation with the ER staff, nor does it indicate what Hanson might have overdosed on.
