The Royals and Mets canceled workouts at Citi Field in New York ahead of Game 3, set for Friday night. Way back in July, Royals manager Ned Yost was already thinking about October. With seven of his own players on the AL All-Star team and his entire coaching staff in tow, Yost was determined to win the Midsummer Classic and secure home-field advantage in the World Series for the American League.
