I saw the highlights of the Lions/Bucaneers game and the Lions scored a touchdown with 17 seconds to go but the guys upstairs overturned the call.

Replay showed it was a touchdown and what I don't understand is the only way a call is reversed is if there is conclusive evidence showing the call on the field was wrong. No way did the replay show it was not a touchdown.

Something smells in Tampa Bay. Sometimes you have to wonder how crooked the NFL is?

We should care because if crap like this happens to one team and costs them a win...it will happen to others like ours.

Oh wait, it already has once this year

That was clearly NOT a catch...he didn't have possession of the ball until his knee was out. It was clear on the replay.

Now, the Giants/Rams game, the ball was spotted a yard short, got moved, was a first and the spot was challenged, and it HELD UP. The guy was a good yard short, but somehow they blew that call on the replay. THAT was screwed.

But no, the Lions didn't score at the end, they just thought they did...and I wish they had.

I watched the end of that game on the Ticket and thought it was the right call. His knee hit the line JUST before he had control of the ball.

I thought it was very subjective...

Hence inconclusive and should not have been overturned. That is actually the replay rule.

I don't know about that. I was hoping like heck it was a TD and that Tampa would lose. I still thought it was the right call.
