Anybody catch this show over the past year and a half? 2 seasons, from BBC America. The second season ended a few months ago, but i'm just now getting to it (I'm on episode 8 of season 2).

VERY well made and fun show that does a great job integrating the Three Musketeers novel into the storylines. If you like period pieces, this one is a great one.

It's hokey, not at all historical, and destroys the Dumas books...and I don't care. It's just romping fun, and I do love it.

"Destroys" is a little harsh. I think it adds a lot of different aspects from the books into the show without changing things completely.

I wouldn't even use "hokey" to describe it either. The BBC's Robin Hood series and Xena/Hercules were "hokey".

Now that you mention it, I was surprised that it incorporated more of the books than I thought it would. Of course, in other areas, it does destroy the books--hard-core. Like I said, I can't get enough of it. Fun as all get out.

I want to see this but I am too busy catching up on Sherlock Holmes. Once I get caught up I will take a look.
