The XFL is back, and it debuts this weekend. Here's a primer on what we can expect out of Vince McMahon's second try to build a league to compete with the NFL: What is the XFL, and when is it on? There are eight teams for the XFL's inaugural season: Dallas Renegades, D.C. Defenders, Houston Roughnecks, Los Angeles Wildcats, New York Guardians, St. Louis BattleHawks, Seattle Dragons and Tampa Bay Vipers.
