Last September, on the eve of training camp, the Knicks traded Carmelo Anthony to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott and a 2018 second-round draft pick. After an extremely disappointing 2017-18 season in OKC, Anthony and the Thunder are expected to part ways this summer, as Oklahoma City is desperate to dump Melo’s salary. Doug McDermott was re-routed to Dallas back in February as part of a three-team trade and has since signed a three-year deal with the Indiana Pacers. Kanter opted into the final year of his contract but is not expected to remain in New York past this season. The one and only player from that much-discussed Carmelo trade that is likely to stay
