Last September, on the eve of training camp, the Knicks traded Carmelo Anthony to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott and a 2018 second-round draft pick. After an extremely disappointing 2017-18 season in OKC, Anthony and the Thunder are expected to part ways this summer, as Oklahoma City is desperate to dump Melo’s salary. Doug McDermott was re-routed to Dallas back in February as part of a three-team trade and has since signed a three-year deal with the Indiana Pacers.
