It's football season!!
Only Everton, eh?
Trippier is one of the most frustrating players to watch. He gives and he takes. You know, this loss is almost all on Tripps, aside from not having a team to really field right now. And I'm okay with that. Tripps has done far more for this team than anyone, and he deserves forgiveness for a howler game. I guaran-damn-tee you he'll make up for it.
It sucks, it's a terrible loss, but it won't be the end of the world. As long as the Mags get into Europe after the injuries they've had, then all is well.
Oh, he's not really taken...he's been dynamite for us.Trippier is one of the most frustrating players to watch. He gives and he takes.
I didn't see the game. only got to see the highlights. not sure of who you are talking about. if it is Romero, well he plays on the edge every week. his red card vs. Chelsea completely changed tottenham's season. that and injuries to Maddison and Vanderven, the latter who has been such a great companion to Romero. Romero is such a great player for spurs. he is really good on the ball and a great one on one defender. On a side note, it's *nice* to see that, even with Kane's departure, Spurs still have a player who's allowed to commit murder and only get a yellow card. That idiotic call could've only been worse if they had carded Wilson for being in Romero's way. Hell, if it'd been Kane, they would have lol
Yep, that's the one. Complete and utter unnecessary, late, studs up ankle crusher near the end of the game with the game decided. Massive failure of VAR that it stuck with the yellow. This was not an orange card. This was a red. If it were Kane, the poor victim would have been carded instead.I didn't see the game. only got to see the highlights. not sure of who you are talking about. if it is Romero, well he plays on the edge every week. his red card vs. Chelsea completely changed tottenham's season. that and injuries to Maddison and Vanderven, the latter who has been such a great companion to Romero. Well Romero has to be smarter than that. They can’t afford to lose him. Spurs are benefiting from not playing in any other tournaments. It is a shame that they have dropped so many points of late.Yep, that's the one. Complete and utter unnecessary, late, studs up ankle crusher near the end of the game with the game decided. It wouldn't have affected the game, though. Newcastle were done and Spurs rampant. Well deserved win.
It's a reason Newcastle was able to get top 4 last year. This year, top 5 might do.Well Romero has to be smarter than that. They can’t afford to lose him. Spurs are benefiting from not playing in any other tournaments. It is a shame that they have dropped so many points of late.

Reminiscent of Jonjo Shelvey there. He can't play smarter than that.
It's who he is and what he does.
Even back to when I'd watch him in the rossoblu as a young player - back then you expected it to develop it of his game.
While a lot of his game has developed and he's a skilled player, he still loses composure and makes costly, reckless decisions
Right?Only Everton, eh?
Count yourself lucky you missed that crap fest!I did not get to watch the Tottenham game because it wasn't on peacock till Monday, and after I saw the score I didn't feel like watching. There have been so many ups and downs so far this season.
I have no idea what to expect tomorrow. It'll be good to be back at St. James, that's for sure. I think Callum Wilson needs to get the start along with Longstaff. It sounds like we may be down to our third string keeper, so that should be interesting. Let's get it done, regardless!
I can’t argue that. I tried to. I guess for spurs that is something they have to deal with. His one on one defending and ball skills are really good and when he’s not in the game there is a clear drop off. Same with vanderven. It’s not a fluke that spurs production dropped with those 2 out of the team. And Maddison as well.He can't play smarter than that.

I know that feeling. Especially with the time difference. I watched the last spurs loss vs. west ham. I debated leaving it for after work, but i got up early to watch it before work. It was a shambolic result in the end because spurs had the ball in west ham’s final third for about 75 of the 90ish mins but still lost because of a bad turnover and weak goalkeeping. and i was late for work because of it.I did not get to watch the Tottenham game because it wasn't on peacock till Monday, and after I saw the score I didn't feel like watching.
