Beyond the sun.
A number of people have told me to give it another shot. Got 15 minutes into it and turned it off. It was clear they were setting him up as a perfect suspect/patsy, but they went for overkill. And I don't care how young and horny you are, there are instinctual alarm-bells that go off in our heads to keep us away from dangerously crazy.

I didn't care for this series based on the ads and description and it was the opposite for me, I caught episode 1 maybe 10-15 minutes after it started and it pulled me right in. The tension was ramping up as the episode went along. I really hope episode 2 delivers because I got hooked after the first episode. I've gone back to watch the beginning that I missed and agree that it seemed a little plodding but I enjoyed everything from the moment he got pulled over onwards.

guys who haven't been laid in a long time will do very stupid things to change that... especially with a hot girl who's plying you with drugs!

I think the show has been absolutely riveting and Turturro has never been better.

This is a really great TV show IMO. It really keeps you on the edge of your seat. I would think this show would be very popular, but I don't know anyone else who watches it.

it's the best thing on TV right now. that said, i was a little irked by the end of the last episode with Stone chasing the guy and the strobe-effect. made it seem like something big was about to happen... and then it was never even somewhat mentioned again in the next episode.

To bad this is a limited series. Love it. I believe I am on the 5th episode now.

I haven't been able to watch much TV this summer, but I have caught up on this show. I think it's great. It's probably my favorite you show in the last couple years.

I think this has been a great series but I've been frustrated with the focus on Turturro's character. It's fine when he's dealing with the case but I've felt like there is something more to his battle with eczema. Like something will tie together, not directly but now that he's found relief maybe that means Naz will catch a real break. I just think they could trim back maybe 5 minutes of Stone for 5 more minutes of Naz or even his family each week.

Here is how I think the series will end.

The Step dad is found guilty of killing girl, and Naz is innocent, but he ends up getting killed by Freddy in jail, or by another inmate before he is released.

I've really been enjoying the series but it has started to feel a bit rushed to me. So many interesting plot lines have been opened, but with only 1 episode left some of those plot lines will probably go unexplored. It's like they tried to cram too much into 8 episodes. They could have taken more time and expanded the series a bit.

I feel like that's too obvious as to who killed her. I'm betting we don't get an answer to who the killer ultimately is by the end of this, one way or another.

Its a limited series, so its just one season. There has to be an end at the end.

The finale is an hour and 45 minutes. I was hoping for a 2 hour finale but was pleasantly surprised to see it will be really close to that. I hope every HBO series is extended but they rarely do it.

I'm trying to enjoy this like True Detective, just soak everything in without trying to figure out where it will go next as far as making predictions. I know a lot of people were disappointed with TD because it ended up being more straight forward in it's finale then they anticipated.

That was as good of a mini-series as I can remember watching.

But as someone who's written procedurals, I smacked myself in the head with the resolution. Should have seen that coming from a mile away and JUST started to once Locanda was shown, but the fact I didn't see it immediately says they did it really well.

Great show! One of the best mini series I have seen.

The end with the cat was awesome! Didn't see that coming, him walking down the hall. I thought they were going to end it there with out knowing what happened to the cat.
