DEN fans should chant: R. A. P. E.

Looks like Kobe is having a crappy game so far(1-9 FG), and the Nuggs are leading. Go Denver!

imagine denver stealing this one and takes care of business in 3 home games:)?

I dont think denver's lead will last long though

don't worry the refs will be clamping down soon. stern isn't going to let denver take this very much further.

This will be a competitive series. I think L.A. will win in five games, but they will have to work for those wins.

The Nuggets stole Game 1 last year @ San Antonio.

Then promtly went on to lose the series 4-1

Gasol was very impressive. Kobe... not so much. Perhaps the weight of his MVP award is affecting him

no it won't lakers in 5 stern is going to make this happen.

Once again, you show how little you know. Watch the game genius, Denver is getting quite a bit of the calls including an offensive foul on Iverson that instead went as Kobe's 3rd.

You conspiracy theory fans are so pathetic. Every time something doesn't go your way, you wine about this phantom conspiracy from David Stern. Enough is enough. The game is close and will continue to be close because it's a playoff series between two talented teams. Save your conspiracy theories for your "The Government is responsible for 911" meetings. Ultimately, the best team will win each series.

I'm getting a little tired of this. Just because a lot of Suns fans feel their team is slighted by the refs on most nights and that David Stern made bad decisions that allowed the Spurs to advance doesn't mean we believe every conspiracy theory in the world. Hell, national writers have stated the Suns never seem to get the calls in important game-winning situations.

Let me clarify, that post was directed at one person, not your entire fan base. I should have been more clear on that, and I apologize to you sincerely. I have friends who are Suns Fans, and like most on this forum, they are level headed and rational people. I should have worded my post better to clarify it was against a minority of Suns fans who act as a cancer in an otherwise classy fan base.

So I wonder what the "National Writers" will write about the day when the Suns finally win a championship?

lakers playing much better in the 2nd half,
they are a much better team.gasol is terrific

i expect a coach change in denver after their short post season.
and it looks like Denver players spend more time for their tattoos than learning the fundamentals of defense.

it seems to me that a guy who postulates that Steve Nash might have thrown the Dallas meltdown in the middle of a race for home-court advantage because he wanted Dirk to get into the playoffs certainly seems like someone who probably believes every conspiracy theory in the world.

Exactly! It's the same 4 or 5 people, not the suns fan base. So i suppose if the suns do go all the way and win it wont be based on their talent and play, it will simply be because stern and the refs gave in and let them.

pathetic

This is going to be a tough series though. Denver isn't going to go away, I still say the Lakers drop 1-2 games in this one.

Glad we won, but our Defense was hard to figure out. Lakers clamp down and look great for a stretch, then become a sive for several minutes.

Just another in a great series of playoff matchups. What a year.

Your right, they get after it at times but what worries me is the lack of a killer attitude when up by 15 or 20. If they dont correct that its going to be a tough post season.
