Did anyone catch the Pilot last night?

I didnt realize the show started up already and only caught the last 10 minutes. I did set up a season pass now so it wont happen again.

I never got into the bbc version, but every add for this show on NBC makes me laugh out loud!

The office mangaer character was played way over the top, to the extent of detracting from the quality of the rest of the show.

Aside from that flaw, I found the show interesting enough to want to catch it again.

I think the original BBC show was hilarious. I didn't even watch the NBC version, I just assumed they wouldn't get it right. Maybe I should have watched?

The NBC version is pretty funny...

Watched last night, an episode I hadn't seen before...was hilarious...forming an Alliance, getting the guy into the box, lol.

I'm renting Season 1 so I can watch them all through..

Rented the Season 1 DVD, I would highly recommend it...there are some pretty funny deleted scenes on it as well.

Dwight - "I have just installed the latest security and encryption, you cannot break into my computer" (or something like that)

After a short pause...

Jim - "Is your password 'Frodo'"?

Dwight - "No..." (he starts typing really fast on his computer)

Another short pause...

Jim - "Did you just change your password to 'Gollum'"?

(more typing...)

ROTFL...

Great show, the basketball episode is pretty hilarious, as is the Immunity one.

I saw the backetball episode and wasn't impressed. I had a few chuckles, but I like the BBC series much better.

I think it's kind of like Office Space, or Napolean Dynamite...the more you watch it, the more things seem funny to you...

Could be. I didn't hate it, I was just sort of "eh" on it.

I have too much "must see" TV as it is, so I won't be TiVo'ing this one...If I happen to catch it I'll probably watch it again.

The Office has to be the most off-putting show on TV. I feel sooo uneasy in ever scene, but really love this show.

Does anyone else think the production value has increased a lot this season? It looks very good.

That was hilarious...

This wasn't one of the funnier ones to me, but it was still great. Pam's mom walks in, and Michael carries the blow up doll out...rotfl!

Was it me or was the '*****' comment kind of awkward...even for this show?

I did laugh out loud though, because i REALLY wan't expecting that.

Yeah, it was awkward...and out of the blue, like you said.

I thought he was actually being nice for once, being smart about things...then he goes and says that, fdl!

I caught bits and pieces of last night's episode, and it was pretty funny. I haven't been big on watching any of the new shows this season, but I've gotten into Supernatural and now The Office in-between commercials.
