I will be rushing the field from the North endzone, wearing a Zack Krula #78 game worn jersey, after ASU beats USC on Thanksgiving. I got tackled by security after the Cards beat San Diego in 1998 and that will not be happening this time. Now, how do you get those goal posts down? I will be rushing the field in honor of the biggest closet case ASU fan in Phoenix, Gee. God bless Arizona State.

Agreed. Rushing the field should be reserved for unranked teams shocking a top seeded team at home.

ASU is the higher ranked team and has a better record. You don't rush the field after this game. You should expect to win this game and act like you expected it.

Unless of course you spent the 1980's in a coma, your mother's ovaries, or were otherwise utterly and completely oblivious as to what happened between these two schools during the decade.

1996 was the only year I was confident of victory. Having been around this rivalry for 30+ years, I expect and prepare for the worst, and hope to be pleasantly surprised otherwise.

With a true rivalry game like this one, records, stats, etc., mean nothing...
