The Official "Fire Coach Ken Whisenhunt" Thread

Seriously. He has to go.

No creativity. No common sense. A fan can look at a formation and tell you what is coming. If a fan can do that - the other team knows what is coming.

Absolutely pathetic.

This game should have been one-sided...for us.

Cardinals, with a different coaching staff and the same talent, blow out these crappy Vikings, IMHO.

I honestly think if this season ends 6-10 or worse he will be gone...and 6-10 or worse really looks likely at this point.

Oh I think that's a given at this point but the question really is will anyone else be following him out the door?

Cause it isn't just him, it's our players too and the guy who assembled them needs to go too even if he just let Whiz do this to our roster that's a football tragedy against the team right there.

My uncle called me (at church) when it was 28-0 to tell me the score.

He said "They won't be any better than 5-11."

I said "Really? 5-11? Who do you think we're going to beat at this point?"

:bang:

In reality Rod Graves is the man most responsible for this mess. If Rod Graves keeps his job after yet another losing season there needs to be some serious questioning of ownership and their actual desire to field a winner...people say M. Bidwill is different than his father, we need to see it by making a smart move for the organization.

I'm in.

The coaching staff has lost the players, plain and simple. How can a team get from within 8 points of being 4-0 to looking so completely inept in all phases of the game - TO A PREVIOUSLY WINLESS TEAM??

Oh, and if M. Bidwill is serious about improving the team, Graves has to go as well.

Negative. You started a thread 2 years ago when there was still faith and hope in CKW.

I think the board in general vastly overstates RGs impact on this team. He's a yes man with no real power. Graves only handles the contracts and you can argue that he's not very good at that. The team would be much better off with a strong GM like Dimitroff or Polian. However, the coaching staff is responsible for the talent on this team. It was our coaching staff who wanted Levi Brown over Peterson, handed the starting job over to Derek Anderson and have brought in over the hill ex-Steelers every offseason. It's hard to pick out one person above all else to blame because the whole system needs fixing.

on the fire whiz bandwagon. would like to see him fired before he gets on the plane so he has to find his own way home.

and kolb just flat out sucks ass.

and levi brown . . . . well, levi brown needs to play another sport. one where he can wear a dress. what a puss.

i hate watching football at a bar with other fans who are having a fun day and having to suck down that crap. i hate it. and i blame everyone in the organization. everyone. ownership. front office. coaching staff. every single player. the sucktitude is everywhere.

The players have not given up on Whis and his staff, it seems the coaching staff has given up on them by them by totally ignoring what they can and cannot do

Someone needs to do the math. How much this team would have to shell out to clear freaking house. The org should let us vote those effers out.

Bloom and Henrickson (sp) are just throwing gas on the fire in a way that I never hear on Cardinal Talk. Things are getting ugly out there.

I don't believe it will happen, but it needs to. We just finished the easy part of the schedule. Things will likely get even uglier.

I've never seen a management group tear apart a team so thoroughly in such a short amount of time. The players look frustrated, the talent is weak and we don't really have a strength on either side of the ball. Plus, Whis has shown very little in the area of player development.

Pittsburgh West has failed miserably. It's time to find a new identity with a new regime.
