Just curious...is there much of a difference between a conservative Southern Democrat and a conservative Southern Republican?
One likes grits with honey, and one likes grits with salt and pepper.

Is overmedium cooked all the way? I need somewhere between soft and medium.

No, that is overhard. Overmedium is not as runny as overeasy.

Overeasy...yeah, that on top is pretty good.

I actually got Linder to try some when we went to Waffle House a couple of weeks ago. I was shocked, and she said it wasn't bad.

darn it...you ruined the "grits are too spicy" joke I was going to go with.

I've always liked grits...mixed with the egg wasn't bad.

I'd actually eat it again...

Is everything
They are great with something spicy. Chiliquilles with grits is the bomb. Grits and Huevos Rancheros is another good combo.

I have had ultraorangecolored cheese grits that are good, but kinda not really grits.

Don't like cheese grits, don't like cheese eggs.

Linder likes cheese eggs, but not omlets.... :slap:

:) yep. Something about the consistency of an omelet. (The whole 'how do you scramble eggs' argument again). I like my eggs (when not over medium) to be fluffy. With melted cheese. :)

I love me some cheese grits.
