I was tough on him early but man did he come up huge tonight. That first catch of the final drive was huge, it's one of those plays where if you get the completion you go for it, if you don't, you might play it safe and go for OT.

Great job JJ

He redeemed himself after running the wrong route resulting in that first qtr pick.

He made one major mistake with that bad route on the 2nd INT, but other then that, he was on fire! Dude can run!

So much depth at WR, this team is loaded. Hopefully Floyd and Smoke are at 100% come playoff time.

I'll add my kudos, and go beyond and not blame him for that 2nd INT. Unless someone has inside info, it looked pretty clear that Palmer just wasn't in it early. He certainly didn't react like a QB who threw a pick because his WR screwed up.

Even so, I think it was a bad decision to throw that in a 2 high safety coverage where even Husain bolt can't get over the top. If he ran the right route he could have maybe broke it up but I don't think it was a good decision by Palmer.

It's incredible how bad Palmer can look so bad then completely brush it off and be nearly perfect from then on.

Jason LaCanfora said it best.....

Yeah. Love to see the guys with elite speed actually be able to catch the ball, too. Great effort tonight. I'll take a 35.5 yard per catch average most nights.

I agree with the 2nd INT, hell the first one was even worse. He may have thought he was on the Bengals again as he threw it right to the defender.

I just wish Palmer could play the whey he does at the end 100% of the time. Be in tune from the beginning.

Exactly, that ball was bound for an INT or at best an INC. Too much air on it if he hits JJ when he first broke open then then ya make the throw. It would have taken a laser shot though.

You're butchering English.

I know, right? I felt like we had Bad Kurt Warner in there, but Bad Kurt never turned those kinds of games around--Palmer did, in a big bad way.

I like that they stuck with JJ even after he ran the wrong route.

He is still going to need to put on weight if he wants to be anything more than a #4 WR.
