Tough game. Will be interesting to see if Dirk can score 100 points.

Mavs 110
Suns 97

Off topic, who here likes the new home court look??

I think it's bland and lacking in color. Looks like a college court. Bring back the purple... somewhere... anywhere!

It's much better than last season.

I hope getting rid of that floor is the first step of getting rid of the grey in the road jersey. I hope they go white/orange as their main colours with their next jersey and purple and/or black alternate ones.

It looks bland like you said.
I do not like the light from the new flashing display on the court from end to end. I would think it would be distracting to the players, but guess not.

It will be interesting to see how well Nash does......hopefully he makes them regret not signing him!!

Mavs will beat the suns by 10+ points tonight.

Mavs 105
Suns 95

This will be a tough game. Mavs are much bigger and stronger than the Suns small line up.

On top of that, Dallas is one of very few teams that can run-and-gun better Phoenix.

I think Mavs win by 10-15 points.

However, I don't think it's a long shot for Suns to win this game. They need to attack Dallas on the inside (Stoudemire, Richardson, Hunter, etc) and get their big men in foul trouble, they need to make sure they get defensive rebounds, and they need to get to the line and make their shots, and they will have to make sure they take GOOD shots. When Nash, JJ, Marion or Q drive to the hoop, and there is nothign there, they need to kick the ball out and start from the very beginning.

Com'on guys where is the faith?

The Suns can win this even though this is a very tough road game.

Work the boards, play some tough D, and avoid turnovers they will be right in it.

I hear the court looks a lot better live than on TV. Someone in the chat said that the other night. I will hopefully get a chance to check it out, but I agree, on TV the glare is too bad.

The Glare is bad on tv, but the color... there is no COLOR!!!

The key area looks like they forgot to finish it.

On tonight, I hope Nash continues on from the Sac game and lights his former side up. And i also want to see Bo chase Dirk around for a good part of the game.

Barbosa is out again :(

While i'm bitching and moaning about the court... I liked Jeff Munn as the PA announcer over this new guy.

Get Casey out of the game. His 3's arent even close and he couldnt defend my dead grandma. Sometimes coach D's substitutions are a joke. Get Casey out of the game or we will lose this game without a doubt.

Great win. It eases the pain of the last two losses since Dallas is a better team than Sac and Cleveland!

Well, Phoenix was excellent in the first half. They were very aggresive going to the hoop, interior defense was great, and they took good shots.

When Mavs got into a 2-3 zone, the Suns looked horrible. Fortunately, they figured out how to beat the zone by going inside and not settling for bad jum shots.

Amare was a monster tonight, Nash did a good job distributing the ball, and Marion played the best defense of his NBA career. He was staying in front of Dirk, not allowing him to drive, and he kept his hand in his face every time he tried to shoot the ball.

Now, here are some things I was not pleased with:
1. Careless turnovers. Suns (especially Steve Nash) have to limit unforced turnovers.

2. They have got to make their free throws.

Anyway, exciting game, great win. Tommorow they go to NO, Davis is hurt- they have to come out strong and continue where they left off.

Go Suns!

Stefan
