Before they made their own forum in the Suns sub, this seemed to be a popular thread so I figure I'd bring it over here.

Throw all your trade proposal ideas here. Don't be ridiculous with them either, as St. Louis isn't trading Arizona Pujols for Tracy.

Here's one to chew on just to start..

Arizona trades Chad Tracy and Carlos Quentin to Los Angeles (AL) for 3B Dallas McPherson and SP Nick Adenhart.

Why LAA Makes This Move: Tracy seems to be the perfect fit for the Angels, as either a DH or a 1b/3b. Quentin gives them youth and power in the OF, two things they sorely need.

Why Arizona Makes This Move: They get a good young pitcher with great stuff and good command of the plate in Adenhart and a guy in McPherson who has that big home run potential. McPherson seems lost in LAA so a change of scenery may do him good, and Adenhart is in a rotation where he seems blocked by higher ranked prospects, even though his own ceiling is as high as any of the other pitchers on the Halo roster.

McPherson is extremely injury prone. I don't think he's played a full year in the majors yet.
