If the playoffs were to start today, I believe in the NL it would be, Mets v Cubs, and Dbacks v Padres. That would certainly be interesting, and sadly I'd fear that the Padres would beat 'us' even though the Dbacks would have home field advantage, Peavy, Young and Maddox may be too much to handle. There would be a ton of pressure on the Dbacks to win the first game w/ Webb, and who knows how the rookies will react to that.....but maybe they'll just keep chugging along, oblivious to silly things like 'pressure' and continue to surprise us, I hope so anyway.

You can't play the first round against a team from your division, so the DBacks would play the Cubs at home and the Mets would play the Pads at home.

Oh thats right, I was thinking for some reason that the caveat was that the team w/ the best record can't play a team w/ in their division. Well, I'd prefer the Dbacks to play the Cubs anyway, I think they are a lot more beatable, however it will be annoying have so many Cub fans @ Chase during a playoff series.
