I know I'll be in the minority here, but I'm over them. I wish they'd go back to being every 4 years (summer and winter in the same year).

I still like the Olympics. In reality I just like seeing country vs country in sporting events. You always see such enthusiasm from fans and most athletes. Always fun to watch.

Nah. NBC probably clogged bank vaults with all the money it got from the summer Olympics. They will be using that money to cover their losses on winter Olympics.

I want to like the winter olympics more than I do. I enjoy watching slalom and bobsled but it's because my dad taught me to watch until someone crashes.
I think I was always intrigued by them because I grew up in AZ and never had a chance to bobsled or that other crazy sled thing (skullet) or whatever. I have seen surveys that the USA public only cares about figure skating but I don't even care for that.

Hell no! Soccer is a freaking snooze fest my friend!
So is having to trudge through a pile of horse crap for a 30 second Usain Bolt run.... Or a 2 minute Phelps swim.
I love the opening ceremonies then DVR the rest of it.
Even the Basketball sucks for me. International rules blow. The baseball world cup is better... and so is Wimbledon or the US Open.
The world cup is a month long party.... Much better show IMO.
