Ok lets hash it out here.

Im not seeing how thats Kliff's fault. Easy first down if he holds on to the football.
Conner must have been gassed so Kliff came up with a decent play to get Ingram up field. He just dropped it.

A miscue from our 3rd stringer QB that helped keep the tank alive

Bad play. Dude plays 3 plays a week and you trust him with the game on the line to catch a pitch from your 3rd string QB, from under center(which isn’t a normal formation for our offense) after he faked a quick hit up the middle to our power back that almost always falls forward for a yard. Kliff being cute and it ultimately cost us another game

Forgot to add: Ingram is a power back not a scat back. He does most his damage is the middle. Not on a pitch.

Kliff deserves a hero for calling such a play with a rookie instead of a vet.

Ingram deserves a hero for dropping it I guess.

Salute to those guys! This tank will not be stopped!
You better not disappoint me man @kerouac9

He had just called a timeout because he subbed late. Conner isn’t tired at that point. Stupid call.

On Ingram for sure. What the hell were we asking him to do. Catch a pitch? They would have keyed on Conner. Cardinal miscue in clutch time. What else is new.

It's a simple play these guys have run since Pop Warner. If you want to make it big in the NFL don't screw up simple plays.
I agree that it’s a play ran since they were kids, but it’s a play they probably haven’t run since they were kids. I know I haven’t seen the cardinals run that play this decade. Practice makes perfect and that play has never been ran in a game before, let alone with Ingram and mcsorely being the two main components

Lined up under center, call a QB sneak. We did it once to success in the game, do it again. Or run a read option. They can’t key on Conner when the QB has pulled the option 3 times beforehand.

If they can’t execute that play they shouldn’t be in the NFL. The call worked but was executed horribly.
3rd string qb and back up RB who's game is between the tackles...horrible play call...horrible execution...horrible coach

He was our starter today so he has to make plays. You are 4-10 and need to see what you have. The best play I saw Ingram make this year was on a swing pass where he made several people miss. Good call that wasn’t executed.

Personally, I immediately thought, had Ingram touched the ball since the 1st quarter? Why bring in a cold player (a rookie coupled with 3rd string QB) on such a risky play?

Driving, getting chunk runs in the 4th quarter with a lead, just why?

Shoulda just brought in a 4th string qb and our 5th WR and called a screen. I mean as long as we execute it right?
