So, post Senior Bowl and pre combine, we have an issue. This draft is loaded. I'm not sure most people get what this means or looks like. So, here will be some perspective. Keep this in mind when you hear guys rising up draft boards, if they aren't on this list, they aren't 2nd round guys unless someone on the list falls off.

1-QB-MITCH TRUBISKY
2-QB-DESHAUN WATSON
3-QB-PATRICK MAHOMES
4-QB-DESHONE KIZER
5-RB-LEONARD FOURNETTE
6-RB-DALVIN COOK
7-RB-CHRISTIAN MCCAFFREY
8-RB-CURTIS SAMUEL
9-RB-ALVIN KAMARA
10-TE-OJ HOWARD
11-TE-DAVID NJOKU
12-TE-BUCKY HODGES
13-TE-GERALD EVERETT
14-TE-EVAN ENGRAM
15-TE-JORDAN LEGGETT
16-WR-MIKE WILLIAMS
17-WR-COREY DAVIS
18-WR-JOHN ROSS
19-WR-JUJU SMITH-SCHUSTER
20-WR-MALACHI DUPREE
21-WR-COOPER KUPP
22-WR-DEDE WESTBROOK
23-WR-ISAIAH JONES
24-OT-CAMERON ROBINSON
25-OT-GARETT BOLLES
26-OT-RYAN RAMCZYK
27-OT-ANTONIO GARCIA
28-OT-RODERICK JOHNSON
29-OG-DAN FEENEY
30-OG-FORREST LAMP
31-OG-DORIAN JOHNSON
32-DT-JONATHAN ALLEN
33-DT-MALIK MCDOWELL
34-DT-CHRIS WORMLEY
35-DT-CALEB BRANTLEY
36-DE-MYLES GARRETT
37-DE-SOLOMON THOMAS
38-DE-CARL LAWSON
39-DE-DEREK BARNETT
40-DE-TACO CHARLTON
41-DE-DEMARCUS WALKER
42-DE-CHARLES HARRIS
43-DE-TARELL BASHAM
44-OLB-TIM WILLIAMS
45-OLB-TAKKRIST MCKINLEY
46-OLB-TJ WATT
47-OLB-HAASON REDDICK
48-OLB-RYAN ANDERSON
49-ILB-RUEBEN FOSTER
50-ILB-ZACH CUNNINGHAM
51-ILB-JARRAD DAVIS
52-ILB-RAEKWON MCMILLAN
53-CB-MARSHON LATTIMORE
54-CB-QUINCY WILSON
55-CB-SIDNEY JONES
56-CB-MARLON HUMPHREY
57-CB-ADOREE JACKSON
58-CB-**** TABOR
59-CB-GAERON CONLEY
60-CB-CORDREA TANKERSLY
61-CB-TRADAVIOUS WHITE
62-CB-KEVIN KING
63-CB-JOURDAN LEWIS
64-CB-DAMONTAE KAZEE
65-CB-DESMOND KING
66-S-MALIK HOOKER
67-S-JAMAL ADAMS
68-S-JABRIL PEPPERS
69-S-BUDDA BAKER
70-S-MARCUS WILLIAMS

and that is leaving six players over the 64 selected in the first two rounds and without some fringe names. Just something to keep in mind. If you want to add a name not on this list already, you gotta take off a name and we already have to take off 8.

Yes, this draft, IMO, is the deepest one in YEARS.

Good news: we can get excellent players. Bad news: so can other teams.

Great list Chopper! The only names that I would consider are DT Montravius Adams Auburn and S Obi Melifonwu UConn. I assume Isaiah Jones is Zay Jones, right?

Yes, Isaiah is Zay.

You are right. There are a ton of names that are really good and not on that list. That was my point, and I agree, Adams and Obi have arguments to be made for them.

I don't buy the premise - that if you add 8 players to the Top 64, you have to drop 8 other guys.

Reasons: Ranking one player over another is arbitrary, subjective and open to discussion. It isn't inconceivable that the gaps between #58 and #64 or #64 and #72 are miniscule (i.e. 8 - 16 players in a near or actual dead-heat).

Final observation - Assuming the Cards draft from the #13 hole in each round, my "Top" boards would be Top 13, Top 45 and Top 77.

So there's actually 32+ first Rd. draft grades in this one finally! Not so last year. There will be some good prospecs left in the 3ed Rd. Potential starters. Maybe we'd consider burning some later ones to move up this year.

a team could fairly easily pull three starters out of the first three rounds this year if they pick smart....

something like...

Reuben Foster

Kevin King

Malacai Dupree

should do it

Agree about 3 starters, but we won't know who we'll get until the picks before us are be made - & they could be all over the lot because each team has its own opinions and priorities.
