Hi everyone, this is my first post here. Well I wanted to say that I am glad that I have finally found the "real" D-Backs forum.. I have been to many other D-Backs websites, but this one seems to be the most active, with the least amount of trolling, and just has very relevant conversations in general.

So, I just thought I'd say hello, and while I am here I should probably wish Davis good luck, because he's going to need it today. :)

thanks guys. I've had an account on the official forum at diamondbacks.com since 2002, but anyone who has gone there has certainly seen that it is full of negativity. There are plenty of reasons to be optimistic this year so needless to say I am tired of that junk. :)

Hey welcome to ASFN... I honestly think this is the best Arizona sports forum I've been to and I love it here. I think you will too!

Welcome aboard. This is in my opinion the best board for all Arizona sports. We have very knowledgeable fans and we don't get many trolls.

By the way, I would like a cheeseburger and french fries.:D

I'll take a chicken burrito, chips and a cold beer please.

And welcome to the boards. Trust me, you'll come to find the discussion here (not just about the Diamondbacks, but the Cards, Yotes, Suns, College Sports, Sting, Mercury, etc) to far and away be better than anywhere previously visited.

And I too once posted in that steaming pile of crap Diamondback.com message board. Part of the nonsensical horsecrap that's said there is what drove me here.

Welcome! Be prepared to waste large portions of your life here now. Yes, we're that awesome. :)

I'll take a D-backs dog covered in mustard & sauerkraut with an iced tea (no lemon)

Yeah I do like this place, a lot.

Also, where are you at in Oro Valley? I used to live at 755 Vistoso Highlands drive.

Yeah, I guess it's ok though, I never really cared for their forum system anyway...no images/avatars/sigs or anything.

I live right by the Oro Valley Country Club... pretty nice area IMO, way better than anywhere else I lived in Tucson.

I don't post here very often, but I'm in Oro Valley as well. Copper Creek subdivision, which isn't too far from Vistoso Highlands. Small world.

Isn't that along rancho vistoso blvd? If so, I lived about half a mile from you.

Holy crap! I lived within spitting distance of the country club.

I used to live on Manderan Lane, just off of Tangerine.

Formerly Chile, now Tucson
I'm near the intersection of Naranja and La Cañada, about 4 miles west of the Oro Valley country club and less than one mile from the El Conquistidor Country Club. Also just south of Tangerine Rd. LOTS of new construction north of us now. So much so that the roads are always crowded and turning left w/out a dedicated signal is horrific. But I have to say that his is a great area for baseball. We are so close for ST/Sidewinders games any time we want, and still driveable in one day for the big boys.

Wow! you were close. Also, I lived in Tucson before too, at 1970 wesr magee road. Basically the complex at the intersection of La Cholla and W. Magee, I used to eat at molinitos on Ina religiously! Sorry to get offtopic, but it's fun reminiscing. Can't wait to get back to Arizona!
