Both movies featured the CIA, glimpses of the "Tradecraft", and a rivalry of teacher vs. student.

The difference?

"Spy Game" was at least 10 times better...

Sorry I have to painfully disagree.

Spygame was slow and oainful to watch. The Recruit was much more entertaining and a more exciting film!

I liked Spygame much better as well...saw The Recruit last weekend, and thought it got a little too unrealistic at the end...

My biggest "dig" against "The Recruit" was the fact that I had it pegged throughout the movie. No suspense, no crazy twists, nothing. Very predictable.

"Spy Game" had me on the edge of my seat for most of the flick...the best spy movie since "Sneakers" in my opinion.

Exactly...hello...Pacino isn't in the movie just to be a good guy teacher with a few scenes...we saw that coming a mile away.

Sneakers!

One of my favorite yet very underappreciated movies IMO!

What a great movie!

Agreed! I saw it a few weeks ago. Even though the technology is seriously dated, it still held up. Great story, and super pacing of the plot-line.
