It seemed like the national media were talking about the success of the Pirates and Indians, but not too much about the Diamondbacks. Looks like after these two big wins against the Giants, they're finally catching on.

I love how he brings up Towers' philosophy on bullpens -- lots of different arm angles, lots of different speeds. Too many GMs go after all the hard-throwing guys -- and a lot of those guys throw it real straight. I don't care if you throw 105MPH, eventually hitters will catch up with it and hit it real far. If you're bullpen is bringing a different look everytime it can make a mediocre reliever better in short spurts -- like Collmenter. He's perfect for that role.
