I wanted so much to be part of the Wookie family. I bought a copy of the holiday special at Xmas last year, but I haven't watched it yet.

LOL. Lucas will never release this. I think it would be cool if he did but I doubt it ever happens. The Holiday Special was pretty bad and he knows it. If I am not mistaken this is one of those rare occasions where GL got paid by someone to license the rights to make this. I think that might have been the last time GL let anybody license the rights to his stuff without total control.

For a while he never even admitted that it existed. Next year is the 30th anniversary. IT would be so sweet to release a Star Wars Holiday Special.... Special Edition!!!

It was bad. I am happy to say that the 2020 Christmas special.....Dr. Seuss' The Grinch Musical Live.....is giving it a run for it's money.
