Both Steelers and Cardinals start out 1-2 and I am quite curious to see how each are treated going forward.

The big difference is that the Steelers looked decent in their two losses, the games could have gone either way and they lost in the final minute of the game.

The Cards are going to get ripped, and treated as flukes and rightfully so. It's probably going to be a long timne before we watch the Cards on SNF after this season.

Colts had a couple of 3-win seasons and another losing campaign. NE has only had one losing season since '95.

I'm not sold yet on the Broncos this year. But then again, what haven't they done so far?

From the '94-'95 season through the '98-99 season the 4 teams took 7 of the 10 spots in the AFC Championship game.

There have only been 3 AFC Championship games in the last 15 years without one of those four teams participating. 7 times two of them were in the game.

They've played in 11 of the last 14 Super Bowls.

The steelers last week were back to playing the kind of ball that got them to the superbowl and ultimately won them the game. The same can be said for the Cardinals. A rematch would most certainly be one for the ages.

ironic, but the cards won a tough game on the road against a stinker oppt whereas the steelers did not. they have some major special teams issues that they need to square away...and their defense while good...is no where near the level they were at last year when they only gave up like 2 200 yard performances against opposing QB's in the regular season. I guess TroyP should have been player of the year not harrison.

In the last ten seasons, only twice has the loser of the Super Bowl made the playoffs the following year. In both of those instances, an NFC West team lost the Super Bowl to Pittsburgh and won their division the following year, and in both cases the defending champion Steelers failed to make the playoffs.
