The Tillmans

There was a great post in the AZ cardinal message board about the Tillmans.

I believe we should all give our thoughts and prayers with the Tillmans now that they have been sent to Iraq. I am very proud to say that he will be one of the only Professional athletes that will do what he did in this day and age. It makes me so proud to say that he was a Cardinal and ASU Sun Devil.

Makes you proud...

to know that it isn't all about the money...for some of these guys. Tillman wasn't the first...Sports Illustrated did a Cover story in 2001 July...on BOB Kalsu on of the best tackles ever to play for the OKlahoma Sooners. He was with the Buffalo Bills in 1969...he gave it up to fight in Vietnam...he became the only pro athlete to give up his life there...His story is truley inspiring. Tillman is this kind of individual. Godspeed Pat...and come home safe.
