Boris Diaw ranks No. 6 among top-selling jerseys in Europe (based on sales from retail locations throughout Europe), right behind Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, and second among all European players — behind only fellow Frenchman and three-time NBA champion Tony Parker (third).

Dwyane Wade and Allen Iverson are first and second.

Diaw was surprised and pleased to hear how high he ranks, although he said he doesn’t see a lot of his jerseys around the streets of Paris.

“We are French; we don’t wear basketball jerseys out to dinner,” he said. “We have dinner clothes.”

Europeans Pau Gasol (seventh) of Memphis and Andrea Bargnani (eighth) of Toronto also appear on the list, ahead of Carmelo Anthony (ninth) and Tracy McGrady (10th).
