Funny - when I think of tough guys to tackle, I think of players bouncing off M Lynch or Jimmy Taylor. I don't think of DJ in those same terms.

Maybe it's a matter of symantics (i.i. how "toughest to tackle" is actually defined). Do tacklers bounce off DJ? Or do his cutbacks cause tacklers to miss?

hes tough to tackle because he jukes you out of your pants and then runs by you like a locomotive.

I read it the same way so I was expecting Marshawn Lynch, Jerome Bettis or Frank Gore when they were in their prime.

If they're going to include guys juking to make people miss then Barry Sanders would be at the top of my list. Also, Adrian Peterson was really hard to tackle just 2-3 yrs ago. For current players, it makes sense that DJ is close to the top of the list with those sick jump cuts & strong stiff arms.

I wish I could remember what game it was (hey, I'm old), but I watched one play where he did SEVERE back and forth jumps while zooming ahead and causing 4 misses in the space of about 10 yards... he looked like he was doing one of those tire drills where they bounce back and forth... I have NEVER actually seen anyone do it in a real game... cannot wait to watch him this season ...

I'm old too so I don't remember the game but if we are thinking of the same play it reminded me of watching a skier slaloming.
