Ill admit this was pretty damn good. Last whole battle sequence was well done.

My wife is a recent groupie to Twilight so we plowed through all the movies in preparation for "Breaking Wind 2" ;)

The whole series is grindingly abysmal, IMHO. Terrible acting, horrid dialogue, generally unlikable characters (I mean really.... there is something to like about Bella?) and plot twists that border on plain silly. I have some understanding why the 14 year old girls like it, but beyond that group, well.... I would rather watch movies that are supposed to be bad. Unless there is something very different about this one, I am pretty sure I'll be rolling my eyes at this one, too.

Why does Pattinson/Edward look like Frankenstein on that movie poster?

Well done for having not happened in the book. In the book, nothing happens. She doesnt imagine the battle. nothing. They face off. Act like 14 year old boys on the playground. And then leave.

But movies have to be exciting, so plug in a giant battle.

Well.... In contrast to the first 4, I thought this one was pretty darned good. Oh, it certainly had its bad moments (some of the CGI was indeed pretty weak and it started off pretty slow) but it worked its way into an overall enjoyable movie. Some of the dialogue was pretty corny indeed, but it definitely felt like they were playing it that way.

The twist at the end totally fooled me.... As Shane pointed out, the battle sequence was very good with lots of surprises. Anyway.... the first 4 get 2 stars each (that's very gracious on my part) but this one gets 3.5 stars.

The popcorn was good, too.... ;D

:D
