Last week Howland announced that freshman guard Jerime ANderson would miss the start of practice with a groin injury he'd been battling all summer.
Nikola Dragovic came back from Serbia in great shape, but complaining his foot hurt, an MRI revealed a cyst, he's currently in a walking boot.
Yesterday they revealed that Jrue Holiday and knee surgery in April, he's about 90% his main problem now is some lingering patellar tendinitis(jumpers knee).
And to show how prevalent the UCLA injury bug is, 2009 UCLA commit, Reeves Nelson just had surgery to repair a slightly torn meniscus in his knee. Nelson had decided to play football his senior year of HS, apparently took a helmet to the knee,and tore the meniscus. He's expected to fully recover although he may miss the start of basketball season, many UCLA fans are now saying I told you he shouldn't play football, my opinion is he's a kid and he should be allowed to get the most out of HS career let him enjoy himself while he still can.
The amazing thing is apparently Alfred Aboya wasn't involved in any of these injuries.
