Plot Summary: The battle of the sexes heats up in Columbia Pictures' comedy "The Ugly Truth." Abby Richter (Katherine Heigl) is a romantically challenged morning show producer whose search for Mr. Perfect has left her hopelessly single. She's in for a rude awakening when her bosses team her with Mike Chadway (Gerard Butler), a hardcore TV personality who promises to spill the ugly truth on what makes men and women tick.

My wife wants to see it, so I will, but holy crap I think we've seen this same movie a dozen times with other actors and marginal story changes...
though specifically, I'm reminded of the one with the cows, Ashley Judd and the guy from Playing God and Talk Soup.

This movie has gotten horrible reviews but I still plan on seeing it!

Fun movie, but not one I will own or even rent on DVD.

Best scene was the dinner scene with the underwear. Heigl and Butler had good chemistry. A lot of the crude jokes seemed forced.

I saw this last weekend with a date, it was pretty good. Not bad, not great, I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars.
