episode one is free till the new year, just finished it in about two hours and it was awesome, like watching a movie except you are involved. Just as good as the show. Episodes 2,3,4 and 5 are on sale for $2.50 each today only. Just bought em all.

How long does it take to beat? Is it open world sandbox style or pretty linear?

its more of a choose your own adventure type game, hopefully you downloaded episode one while it was free and tried it out.

Episode one took about 2 hours.

I missed the Trials one but with the user tracks Im not concerned with buying more maps.

Ive only seen 4 episodes of the show (which is awesome but my wife doesnt like horror and I havent gotten around to continuing the series) and the game is a different story, same premise. You can easily do either one before the other.

There is a reason that this game is up for several GOTY awards - its fantastic. I will give a bit of a warning though, bring tissues for episode 3 and 5. Depending on choices you made, they're really damn depressing. Very good but depressing
