The way Warner has played against a VERY VERY good Jacksonville D that Held the Colts to 14 point on the road last week.

Can we now dismiss all the "losing Haley is gonna kill us" talk?

Is Whiz now capable of doing both jobs?

I know its only one game? But all of you were panicking about the O and Haley being gone after one game. So is your mind anymore at ease now?

Shane, they convinced me they are capable of anything, good or bad. Talk about good? They look awesome. I'm with you on this thread, 100%.

I see Whis having confidence in his play calling today. I never doubted that Kurt still had it. He is having a great day because the coach set him up to succeed rather than fail like last week. Today this is an attacking offense and last week they were tentative. Defense is solid as well. Haley never played into it with me. Give guys like Kurt, Fitz, Q, TH a solid game plan and few penalties and they will win most of those games. Whis has done that this week.

This game isn't over yet, but it is a 1,000% improvement over last week.

Totally agreed with brining in Matty too! Good stuff. Matt played well enough but was plagues by a Fitz and Spach drop.

Could you imagine what the board reaction would have been like it Warner got hurt while we had a 3 TD lead?

Everyone played great today. Kurt looked healthy and comfortable. If he stays healthy all year I can't imagine us not winning the division again.

I will eat mine for today, anyway. I had confidence in Wiz to call plays, just not quite as well as Haley. Serve me mine in Redbird Shane.

I'm not sure what we did in practice this week that got the team to do a 180 from last week and the preseason. But, it needs to be done again.

I suspect there was change in the mindset of the players more than anything. We can't seem to play very well until people start saying we stink.

Na, that was a bad choice by the coach. Kurt should have gone one more series. Had they not blown it the Jags could have made a game of it. We did not punt until Matt came into the game. It changed momentum. It was clearly a bad call by Whis. We didn't pay for it and he called a great game otherwise.

I have no doubt Whis is a capable coordinator, but as a guideline I'm not nuts about any HC calling plays on gameday.

One very interesting note: Whiz calling plays...has a Super Bowl ring.

No.

Today's win was due in large part, IMO, because Wiz allowed the offense revert back to allowing Warner to take charge, just as Haley did last season. in other words, as long as Wiz allows that, then we're okay. But if wiz wants to change the mindset of the playcalling, then we will miss Haley, and fail.

What gave you the impression warner was any moere in charge this week as compared to last?

I am going to have to disagree. If Haley was here Fitz wouldn't be mopping around as much as he is.:mulli:

Then maybe we should have kept Haley and traded Fitz? :)

First of all, I don't think it was "kill us" I think it was "we'll miss him."

Second of all, no. If we can't declare we WILL miss him after one bad game, we can't declare we won't after one good one.

Jeez. This is a hugely knee-jerk fan base.

You were like "miss" others were in panic mode damed near after one game. So I wondered that if they were panicking after one game. Are they now at ease after one more? Logical question.
