Division I
Eagles starter Alex Anderson struck out 7 and walked 3 over four innings on his way to a close victory over the Quakers, with Nate Coutant earning the save.
It was the bottom of Barrington's lineup that did most of the damage, with Miles Dolan, Blake Dolan and Chip Lambert combining for 4 of the team's 8 hits. Miles Fontaine, Chris Promades and Blake Dolan drove in the Barrington runs.
For Moses Brown, Luke Wesner struck out 6 and walked 3 in taking the loss. Will Haggerty led the Quakers with 2 hits, and Dylan Winslow and Drew Algava each drove in a run in the loss.
Offense was at a premium as the Hawks and Lions were knotted in a scoreless game through 7½ innings before Parker Boyd stepped to the plate. The Hendricken lead-off man connected for a walk-off single to win it.
Pitchers for both teams were stellar throughout the afternoon. Hendicken's pitchers combined to no-hit the Lions. Mason Marchessault allowed no hits or runs over six innings, striking out 8 and walking 4. In relief, Mason Crain struck out 3 and allowed no hits or runs over two innings to earn the win.
For Lincoln, starter Jon-luca Feole allowed just 2 hits and one unearned run over 7 innings, with 3 strikeouts and 3 walks in the loss.
Jack Zerbarini paced the Bulldogs, going 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, 2 RBI and 3 runs scored, as Westerly won in a mercy-rule shortened contest.
After taking an early lead, Westerly added 7 runs in the third inning, thanks in part to Zack Miner's 2-run double. Miner was 2-for-2 with 3 RBI. The Bulldogs tallied 10 hits in the game. Dante Pruitt also drove in 3 runs with a double in the fourth.
On the mound, starter Michael Poole struck out 9 and walked 3 over four innings before turning it over to James Hooper, who threw one inning of scoreless relief.
Trace Dubois took the loss for Mt. Hope. Rhys Davies, Logan Dubois and Brian Abbruzzi each had a hit for the Huskies.
Chase Austin smacked 3 hits and drove in 2 runs, Josh Lyon banged out 2 doubles and drove in 2, and Tyler Hurteau had 2 hits and an RBI, leading the Clippers to victory. Ben Jahnzwas the winning pitcher, going the distance and yielding 7 hits while striking out 4. Only one of the 3 Falcons' runs was earned. Logan Taylor had 2 singles and an RBI for Cranston West.
The Townies jumped out to a 4-run lead in the first inning and cruised to the win. Tyler Dicecco got the big hit in the inning with a 2-run double. The other two runs scored on fielders' choices. EP added to its lead in the second, when Oliver Andrews and Timothy Robitaille each singled in runs. Starter Kyle Desrosiers rang up 10 strikeouts while yielding 4 hits, a walk and and 3 runs over 4⅓ innings for the win. Robitaille threw 2⅔ innings of one-hit, no-run ball for East Providence, striking out 6. Antonio Defusco went 1-for-4 at the plate with an RBI for the Falcons.
La Salle pounded out 14 hits, including a 2-run homer by Brady Collins, who had 3 RBI, and a solo shot by Axel DaSilva, as the Rams powered their way past the Oakers. Aiden Reilly had a solid outing for Coventry in the loss with 2 doubles and 4 RBI.
Division II
The Patriots were first on the scoreboard, thanks to Henry Kearns tripling in the first inning and coming around to score, but it wasn't long before the Sentinels would answer. Chase Prata doubled down the right-field line in the third inning, and Gio Esposito hit a sacrifice fly. Each would score one run.
Smithfield had 9 hits in the game, with Moe Villandry, Jake Hopkins, Tucker Byrnes and Prata each collecting two hits. On the bump, Prata allowed just 2 hits over 6innings, with 4 strikeouts and 3 walks.
For Pilgrim, Kearns and Derek Asciolla each drove in a run.
Division II/III
The Wizards jumped out to a lead in the first inning after Nick Andruchow doubled in two runs. Dylan Provoyeur hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Jack Proulx singled, scoring another, and Luke Gallo was struck by a pitch, bringing home another run.
Division II West Warwick would extend its lead from there and cruise to victory, collecting 13 hits in the game. Anthony Burt and Andruchow each collected two hits, with the latter driving in 3 runs.
Provoyeur earned the win for West Warwick, giving up 3 hits and 1 run (zero earned) over 3 innings, striking out 4 and walking none.
John Cruz led D-III Times2 Academy with 2 hits in 3 at-bats, with an RBI in the loss.
Division III
Starting pitcher Kamryn Rego had an outstanding day as he went 6⅓ innings, allowing only 1 hit and 2 runs while striking out 16 in the Tigers win. Rego also threw a "immaculate" inning in the second inning, striking out the side on nine pitches.
Tiverton collected 12 hits in the game as Rego and Noah Mercer led the offense with two RBI apiece and teammates John Faria and Tyler Garside had 2 hits each.
Mount Pleasant got on the scoreboard in the fourth on a solo homer by Yadhiel Moya. In the sixth inning, trailing by 6 runs, MP scored 4 runs to make it close, but Tiverton held on for the victory.
Jerry Gamboa collected 3 hits and drove in 2 runs, Raynel Rodriguez also had 3 hits and he stole 3 bases, and Jorldanis Gamboa finished with 2 RBI, as the Purple won convincingly. Hope jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning, but the Pride tied it in the second. The Purple scored 3 in the second on RBI by Jorldanis Gamboa, Rodriguez and Josh Tejada. Medrano earned the win for Hope. He allowed two hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out 14 and walking two. Alex Quinones and Fernandez Jimenez each drove in one run for BVP.
The Patriots hung tough after giving up the tying runs in the top of the seventh and Marin Prest played the role of hero with an RBI single that gave them a 3-2 walk-off win over the Falcons.
Pilgrim struck first, scoring its first run on an error and getting the second on a Prest RBI single. The runs seemed to be enough, as Gretchen Dombeck was on cruise control and left the game after the sixth with the 2-0 lead.
But the pitching change was exactly what the Falcons needed. Mia Baffoni started the rally with a single and later scored on a double by Mia Santomassimo. Cranston West pulled off a successful double steal to score Santomassimo, and Pilgrim brought Dombeck back in to snuff out the rally.
Tied at 2 heading to the bottom of the eighth, Maddie Tuirok hit a one-out single and moved to third after singles by Genna D’Amato and Spencer Hawes. Prest didn’t waste any time, going the other way on the first pitch she saw to bring home Tuirok with the game-winning run.
Prest and D’Amato both finished with two hits and Prest had the 2 RBI. Siena Nardelli and Gianna DiSpirito both had two hits in the loss for Cranston West.
Dombeck earned the win, pitching 7 1/3 innings while giving up no runs on five hits with three strikeouts. Mia Crudale threw well in the loss, spreading out seven hits and giving up one earned run, striking out four.
Lily Riggin got the day started right for the Sentinels and Crystal Cacador took care of the rest in a win over the Bengals.
Down 1-0 heading to the bottom of the first, Smithfield wasted little in finding a response. Riggin hit a single to center that plated Cacador, a Bay View error brought home another run and a wild pitch brought Riggin in for a 3-1 lead.
Cacador didn’t need any more support. After the tough first inning — in which she walked a pair and gave up a sac fly to Qiana Sumner for the Bengals’ run — Cacador took over in the circle and finished with 13 strikeouts while giving up just 3 hits and the 2 walks.
Riggin went 3-for-4 with 1 RBI and 3 runs and Cacador was 3-for-3 with two runs and drove in a run with a double in Smithfield’s 4-run fourth inning. Mia Howard went 2-for-4 and drove home a pair and Sophia Parrillo scored twice.
The Townies dug themselves out of a hole, gave up the lead, then bounced back as Sophia Patterson’s bases-clearing double helped put the Quakers away.
Moses Brown struck first, scoring 3 runs in the second inning before East Providence bounced back with 4 in the top of the third. The Quakers tied the score on a solo home run by Coco Medeiros and seemed to have all the momentum.
The Townies changed that in the fifth. After working the bases loaded on walks, Trinity Provencher was hit by a pitch to bring home the go-ahead run. Patterson stepped up next, ripping a double to left that scored 2 runs with Provencher following after a Quaker error. East Providence added 3 insurance runs in the final 2 innings to put the game away.
Patterson finished 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI. Freshman Ella Grimley had a big day at the plate, going 2-for-4 with 4 RBI and 1 run. Marianna Pina and Makenzie Pimental showed off their speed with a pair of runs.
Medeiros led Moses Brown with the solo home run. Ava Lourenco had 2 hits and drove home a run in the loss.
Adriana Jeannenot showed why she’s one of Rhode Island’s elite talents, dominating in the circle and at the plate to lead the Chargers to a 7-2 win.
The sophomore All-Stater wasted little time in establishing her presence, striking out the first 3 batters she faced in what was a trend for the game. Jeannenot threw a complete game, striking out 14 while giving up 4 hits and 1 earned run.
Chariho trailed 2-0, but took the lead in the fourth on an RBI single by Alana Valuk and a 2-run double by Emily Popowich. In the fifth, Brianna DeGiacomo added to the lead with a 2-run double and in the seventh, Jeannenot left little doubt about the outcome with a 2-run homer.
Jeannenot went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. DeGiacomo had 2 hits and drove in 2 runs and Popowich had 2 RBI. Madeline Dorgan scored a pair for the Chargers.
Emma Manzo score one run and drove in another in the loss for the Crusaders.
Liliana Bell first-inning home run was just the tip of the iceberg as the Oakers rolled through the Chieftains. Bell was looking to swing early in the count and hammered the first pitch she saw over the left-center-field fence to put Coventry up, 1-0. Izzy Dyl tacked on another with an RBI double.
The bats didn’t stop there. Bell hit a 2-run single in the second and Leah Lapham and Kenadie Ortiz both hit RBI singles to put the Oakers up, 7-0. Coventry added 4more in the third and 3 in the fourth before the mercy rule shortened the game.
Bell finished 2-for-4 with 4 RBI and 2 runs. Gia Lovell and Lapham both finished with 2 RBI and Emily Spadoni scored 3 times for Coventry.
Sage Soares threw 3innings and struck out 7 to earn the win.
Barbara Rainey continued her hot streak and her home run put an exclamation point on the Patriots’ win over the Spartans.
Portsmouth jumped out quickly, getting an RBI double from Mary Rainey that helped make it 3-0 after the first inning. Barbara Rainey hit an RBI double in the 3-run second inning and the Patriots went on to add 4 more in the fourth.
The bats continued to work in the fifth and up 17-0, Barbara Rainey hit a 3-run home run for the game’s final runs.
Barbara Rainey finished 3-for-4 with 4 RBI and 4 runs. Mary Rainey went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI and 1 run and freshman Evelyn Schmidt was 2-for-4 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. Tatum Brennan drove home a pair for Portsmouth and Kaylyn Aubuchon scored 3 times.
Isabella DeFusco had 2 hits and drove in a run for Scituate and Haley Nickerson had the other RBI.
Payton Abrams’ home run highlighted a 10-run second inning that helped the Mariners shorten their work in a win over the Cavaliers.
Narragansett jumped out to 3-0 lead in the first inning after some Juanita Sanchez miscues and got the bats cooking in the second. Grace Blessing started things with a 2-run single, Briana Reidy drove in a run and Abrams capped the scoring with a 3-run home run to center field.
The bomb was Abrams lone hit of the game. Makenzie Gallagher went 3-for-4 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI and Blessing, Delaney Bonneau and Reidy had 2 RBI apiece in the mercy-rule shortened win.
Division III
Division II
Caleb Williams and Ian Morissette score 4 goals apiece and Evan Morissette found the back of the net twice as the Bulldogs rolled to victory over the Falcons. Nicholas Scorpio had the lone goal for CW.
With 7 minutes left in the fourth quarter, Portsmouth (5-1) clamped down on defense to shut down a 3-minute penalty without allowing a goal. The Patriots offense was led by Teddy Gersen (4 goals, 3 assists), Robert Mairs (4 goals, 1 assist) and Chase Pascoe (1 goal, 2 assists). Brady Williams had 6 ground balls (1 assist) and helped win the faceoff battle. For the Crusaders (3-4), John Gaffney scored 3 goals, and Liam McIntosh recorded 4 assists in the loss.
Division IV
Caden Gurjian scored 6 times and Grant Bailey had 2 goals and 3 assists as the Spartans ran past the Chieftains. Scituate netminder John Greenhalgh has 12 saves in the win.
Division I
Ella Martin fired in 7 goals, Lizzie Hill scored 5, Bridget Baney chipped in with 4 and Maya Jones made 14 saves, lifting the Crusaders to the triumph. Aubrey Currier and Alexis Comella scored 3 and 2 goals, respectively, for the Chargers.
Division III
Four Townies struck for 3 goals each as East Providence edged the Titans. Finding the net for East Providence were Kloey Iacovone (3 goals), Ella Benson (3), Kat Almeida (3), Alyssa Karalekas (3) and Dylan Flynn (2). For Toll Gate, Delanie Wheeler led all scorers with 6 goals, Aubrey Rubeira added 4, and Ayla Paloy and Stella-Blue Kraus each had one. In net, EP's Ava Williams made 8 saves and Toll Gate's Olivia Napolitano had 9.

The Patriots hung tough after giving up the tying runs in the top of the seventh and Marin Prest played the role of hero with an RBI single that gave them a 3-2 walk-off win over the Falcons.
Pilgrim struck first, scoring its first run on an error and getting the second on a Prest RBI single. The runs seemed to be enough, as Gretchen Dombeck was on cruise control and left the game after the sixth with the 2-0 lead.
But the pitching change was exactly what the Falcons needed. Mia Baffoni started the rally with a single and later scored on a double by Mia Santomassimo. Cranston West pulled off a successful double steal to score Santomassimo, and Pilgrim brought Dombeck back in to snuff out the rally.
Tied at 2 heading to the bottom of the eighth, Maddie Tuirok hit a one-out single and moved to third after singles by Genna D’Amato and Spencer Hawes. Prest didn’t waste any time, going the other way on the first pitch she saw to bring home Tuirok with the game-winning run.
Prest and D’Amato both finished with two hits and Prest had the 2 RBI. Siena Nardelli and Gianna DiSpirito both had two hits in the loss for Cranston West.
Dombeck earned the win, pitching 7 1/3 innings while giving up no runs on five hits with three strikeouts. Mia Crudale threw well in the loss, spreading out seven hits and giving up one earned run, striking out four.
Smithfield 8, Bay View 1
Lily Riggin got the day started right for the Sentinels and Crystal Cacador took care of the rest in a win over the Bengals.
Down 1-0 heading to the bottom of the first, Smithfield wasted little in finding a response. Riggin hit a single to center that plated Cacador, a Bay View error brought home another run and a wild pitch brought Riggin in for a 3-1 lead.
Cacador didn’t need any more support. After the tough first inning — in which she walked a pair and gave up a sac fly to Qiana Sumner for the Bengals’ run — Cacador took over in the circle and finished with 13 strikeouts while giving up just 3 hits and the 2 walks.
Riggin went 3-for-4 with 1 RBI and 3 runs and Cacador was 3-for-3 with two runs and drove in a run with a double in Smithfield’s 4-run fourth inning. Mia Howard went 2-for-4 and drove home a pair and Sophia Parrillo scored twice.
East Providence 11, Moses Brown 4
The Townies dug themselves out of a hole, gave up the lead, then bounced back as Sophia Patterson’s bases-clearing double helped put the Quakers away.
Moses Brown struck first, scoring 3 runs in the second inning before East Providence bounced back with 4 in the top of the third. The Quakers tied the score on a solo home run by Coco Medeiros and seemed to have all the momentum.
The Townies changed that in the fifth. After working the bases loaded on walks, Trinity Provencher was hit by a pitch to bring home the go-ahead run. Patterson stepped up next, ripping a double to left that scored 2 runs with Provencher following after a Quaker error. East Providence added 3 insurance runs in the final 2 innings to put the game away.
Patterson finished 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI. Freshman Ella Grimley had a big day at the plate, going 2-for-4 with 4 RBI and 1 run. Marianna Pina and Makenzie Pimental showed off their speed with a pair of runs.
Medeiros led Moses Brown with the solo home run. Ava Lourenco had 2 hits and drove home a run in the loss.

Chariho 7, Prout 2
Adriana Jeannenot showed why she’s one of Rhode Island’s elite talents, dominating in the circle and at the plate to lead the Chargers to a 7-2 win.
The sophomore All-Stater wasted little time in establishing her presence, striking out the first 3 batters she faced in what was a trend for the game. Jeannenot threw a complete game, striking out 14 while giving up 4 hits and 1 earned run.
Chariho trailed 2-0, but took the lead in the fourth on an RBI single by Alana Valuk and a 2-run double by Emily Popowich. In the fifth, Brianna DeGiacomo added to the lead with a 2-run double and in the seventh, Jeannenot left little doubt about the outcome with a 2-run homer.
Jeannenot went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. DeGiacomo had 2 hits and drove in 2 runs and Popowich had 2 RBI. Madeline Dorgan scored a pair for the Chargers.
Emma Manzo score one run and drove in another in the loss for the Crusaders.
Coventry 14, Ponaganset 0
Liliana Bell first-inning home run was just the tip of the iceberg as the Oakers rolled through the Chieftains. Bell was looking to swing early in the count and hammered the first pitch she saw over the left-center-field fence to put Coventry up, 1-0. Izzy Dyl tacked on another with an RBI double.
The bats didn’t stop there. Bell hit a 2-run single in the second and Leah Lapham and Kenadie Ortiz both hit RBI singles to put the Oakers up, 7-0. Coventry added 4more in the third and 3 in the fourth before the mercy rule shortened the game.
Bell finished 2-for-4 with 4 RBI and 2 runs. Gia Lovell and Lapham both finished with 2 RBI and Emily Spadoni scored 3 times for Coventry.
Sage Soares threw 3innings and struck out 7 to earn the win.

Portsmouth 20, Scituate 2
Barbara Rainey continued her hot streak and her home run put an exclamation point on the Patriots’ win over the Spartans.
Portsmouth jumped out quickly, getting an RBI double from Mary Rainey that helped make it 3-0 after the first inning. Barbara Rainey hit an RBI double in the 3-run second inning and the Patriots went on to add 4 more in the fourth.
The bats continued to work in the fifth and up 17-0, Barbara Rainey hit a 3-run home run for the game’s final runs.
Barbara Rainey finished 3-for-4 with 4 RBI and 4 runs. Mary Rainey went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI and 1 run and freshman Evelyn Schmidt was 2-for-4 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. Tatum Brennan drove home a pair for Portsmouth and Kaylyn Aubuchon scored 3 times.
Isabella DeFusco had 2 hits and drove in a run for Scituate and Haley Nickerson had the other RBI.
SOFTBALL - Division III
Narragansett 15, Juanita Sanchez 0
Payton Abrams’ home run highlighted a 10-run second inning that helped the Mariners shorten their work in a win over the Cavaliers.
Narragansett jumped out to 3-0 lead in the first inning after some Juanita Sanchez miscues and got the bats cooking in the second. Grace Blessing started things with a 2-run single, Briana Reidy drove in a run and Abrams capped the scoring with a 3-run home run to center field.
The bomb was Abrams lone hit of the game. Makenzie Gallagher went 3-for-4 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI and Blessing, Delaney Bonneau and Reidy had 2 RBI apiece in the mercy-rule shortened win.

Westerly 14, Cranston West 1
Caleb Williams and Ian Morissette score 4 goals apiece and Evan Morissette found the back of the net twice as the Bulldogs rolled to victory over the Falcons. Nicholas Scorpio had the lone goal for CW.
Portsmouth 14, Prout 8
With 7 minutes left in the fourth quarter, Portsmouth (5-1) clamped down on defense to shut down a 3-minute penalty without allowing a goal. The Patriots offense was led by Teddy Gersen (4 goals, 3 assists), Robert Mairs (4 goals, 1 assist) and Chase Pascoe (1 goal, 2 assists). Brady Williams had 6 ground balls (1 assist) and helped win the faceoff battle. For the Crusaders (3-4), John Gaffney scored 3 goals, and Liam McIntosh recorded 4 assists in the loss.
Division IV
Scituate 9, Ponaganset 2
Caden Gurjian scored 6 times and Grant Bailey had 2 goals and 3 assists as the Spartans ran past the Chieftains. Scituate netminder John Greenhalgh has 12 saves in the win.

Ella Martin fired in 7 goals, Lizzie Hill scored 5, Bridget Baney chipped in with 4 and Maya Jones made 14 saves, lifting the Crusaders to the triumph. Aubrey Currier and Alexis Comella scored 3 and 2 goals, respectively, for the Chargers.

East Providence 14, Toll Gate 12
Four Townies struck for 3 goals each as East Providence edged the Titans. Finding the net for East Providence were Kloey Iacovone (3 goals), Ella Benson (3), Kat Almeida (3), Alyssa Karalekas (3) and Dylan Flynn (2). For Toll Gate, Delanie Wheeler led all scorers with 6 goals, Aubrey Rubeira added 4, and Ayla Paloy and Stella-Blue Kraus each had one. In net, EP's Ava Williams made 8 saves and Toll Gate's Olivia Napolitano had 9.
