Bigtime.

It's definitely making me think he's going to the HOF now, this guy apologized for Jake for years.

Consider the source. This is coming from a guy who changed the pronunciation of his name so that it rhymed with Heisman.

He also said Warner was gonna be the MVP last year, Redskins winning the SB. He's always dogging QBs.

If he is dogging Leinart over the contract stuff, it is well deserved...

No he said he would have passed on Leinart, dosen't know he has a strong enough arm for the NFL and that if Ten and Norm Chow didn't take him it that others should wonder why.

Mentioned possible arm injuries and that Chow may know more than others how bad it is.

Chow was overruled by the ownership to take Young..... from what I read

Yeah I've read that too, just saying what Theisman said, but others said he just took cover in the ownership making the decision so as to not hurt Matt's feelings.

I doubt that but it's been said.

The agreement with Leinart should help boost interest in the Broncos pre-season game.

Judging from the prices on the scalpers websites it wasn't a game many people were interested in.

Now it should be.

No interest because it's a preseason game on a Thursday AFTERNOON! WTF is that, we can't properly tailgate @ noon in August. I was hoping for a Saturday night game.

I hate it when we draw the last preseason game as a home game. It's always the worst game. Many of the starters won't play at all if things are going well. Not to mention we have to play the cutblocking Broncos AGAIN (3rd year in a row.)

The third game of the preseason is the best one.

Leinart should play a huge amount in that game for that reason alone we get a big bonus over most games.

He also picked the Steelers to go to the SB last year.

I don't remember Theisman having that strong of an arm. It was enough to bring the Skins to two SBs.

Yeah people said the same thing about Montana, arm strength is great but it's not everything.

If he can make all the throws he can play and if he's really accurate and smart he'll win us a Super Bowl.

Thought this game was scheduled for a 7:05pm start? Did they change it?

and that is exactly what happened...what was really funny was both mike and tony gave him about five chances to change his mind during that segement.....even after watching brooks, etc at qb....i believe he actually said he was not sure about any of the quarterbacks "making it" and he would have taken huff.....from what i see of oakland they may take the title of being the "new cardinals" i think al davis has seen his better days as an owner...albeit he as the pedigree over the years...there is a very good reason he coulld not find anyone to coach the team...and he is the reason....the day of trying to ressurect guys who are over the hill is gone..when matt turns out...not if....this could be similar to the trail blazers taking sam bowie instead of michael jordan....well maybe not that extreme but we can hope!!!

When they put it up on the scoreboard at the game, they did show a 1:05 kickoff. Obviously, that was a screwup.
