There was a poster a few weeks back who said that Beanie would get his arm broken if he tried to stiff arm as he did in College. Guess not!

Really? A good stiff arm is almost unstoppable. It's hard to tackle when your head is being pushed back.
Something I never understood; grabbing a face mask is a penalty. It's called on everyone else, most certainly defensive players, but also offensive linemen, etc., but a RB can do it indiscriminately... 
Of course, with Beanie playing for the Cards I applaud the rule interpretation as it stands!

My understanding of the rule is that they specifically do not apply it to ballcarriers because a face mask would be 1) Inadvertant; and 2) Does not offer the ball carrier any significant advantage (it is probably a disadvantage as it tangles their hand in the mask).
