DJ,
Crazy Canuck probably should have used this because he was being sarcastic.

Shot yourself in the foot, eh!
Leonard Davis can be so very good and so very bad in the same game so very often that I have no idea on whether or not to keep him.
He's absolutely frustrating.
Please find me one example in NFL history of a head coach being hired with a staff already in place.
I'll wait.
Nice new sig, by the way. I haven't heard anyone tease me with "Special Ed" since about the 2nd grade. It took the other 7 year olds on the playground about 10 seconds to think of it. What did it take you, a couple minutes?
Hope you haven't waited to long. OAKLAND last year.
He at least got to get his own OC in that guy that he plucked out of the Bed & Breakfast in Idaho, or whatever.

I see your point, but we tried that with Shelton. It didn't work.
Other teams may be desperate but they also have VCRs. They've watched plenty of tape on Davis and I can't imagine too many of them (maybe Matt Millen!) who are stupid enough to think he's worth much.
That was not rivisionist history. He blew at G all year long. If you are disputing that then you are truly showing the revisionist history here not me. But if you wanna blame Wells bad play and getting man handled o the center more power to you.
Buffalo offering him what they did isnt a glaring endorsement. Many team have busted open the vault for mediocre and undeserving players. Happens all the time.

As a proponent of franchising Davis --
I will say it kinda bothers me that in the last eight weeks of the season, his play has noticably improved.
Is that Loney's methods finally catching on? Is that M. Brown being moved next to him?
Or is it a lazy guy going on a free agent contract drive?

Missing the biggest reason IMO.
Having a lefty at QB, meaning BIG played the frontside tackle.
