What is Reiff and DeCastro are there for us at 13?
Lol, no O-lineman is going to come here and improve with Grimm on the mic. Kalil is pimp but no way he slides, I'm down with straight BPA which looks to be a pass rush unless some teams jump around the room but you never know with this team. A reciever on the other side wouldn't hurt either, that combined with Williams return would make some very nice upgrades on offense but if that talent is there, I got no problem with BPA landing on defense. It's almost over bro.I can't wait for the first round to be over, because I'm tired of hearing this question asked 8 ways to Sunday every day (or 8 ways to Thursday, as it were).
I'd rather go with a pass rusher or Floyd than take either. If I were in the drivers' seat, I'd take DeCastro, because I think he's a better prospect than Reiff is. I think the Cards will take Reiff because he's a finished project that they can immediately plug in to the Right Tackle position.
The problem with the Iowa guys is that they don't get better after you draft them. Polished coming in, but there's no upside to them. I'm not sure that Reiff is a better prospect than Brian Bulaga was last year.

I think our toughest choice would come if Ingram, Floyed, and Reiff are all still on the board.

Niether.
You have to ask yourself why would 12 teams pass on a "premier" OT. Easy...Reiff is not a premier tackle. Why would you draft a OT that "projects" to right tackle?
No the answer is very simple, teams pass in the top 10 because they want bang for the buck. This is a selling game. You have to have that pizzaz factor to put butts in the seats. An OT isn't going to do that. He's a piece of the puzzle. So they fall, DeCastro falls, and he's a premier prospect.

Colledge and Snyder signed over the last 2 years and we resigned Brown, Batiste, and re-did Sedleins contract. If we were talking about a Joe Thomas type tackle that would be another story.
At 13 you don't take guys with questionable character, motivation,or lack of motor. Don't take a DE that has to move to LB. You don't take a corner that projects to safety. JMHO.
Take a guy that has been productive, intelligent, with good character and a great self starter.
Kuechly,Floyd, and Hightower are 3 players that could ( should) very well be in the starting lineup on opening day. Kuechly will probably be gone.
Hightower would replace Lenon Paris ( thats what DD called him). Floyd would push Doucet and Roberts to #3 and #4 respectively where they really belong.

So you don't take DeMarcus Ware at 13th overall?
