because the Cardinals basically had red and white uniforms. The Giants normally wear blue and grey, and with the blue helmets and grey pants with the stripe, the red looked out of place. I don't think they flow. If someone had never watched the Giants before, then maybe it would look normal to them. But I think the red jerseys look out of place in conjunction with the rest of their uniform, like a practice red "don't hit me" uni.

No, it is a fashion jersey. And, the Orange Bears jersey (I think) you're referring to is also a fashion jersey. However, the Bears are supposed to be unveiling an alternate Orange jersey this coming season or the next.

I know that one of the NFL video games had a bunch of these fashion jerseys as alternates, but they're not legitimate alts.

I've got all of the NFL Style Guide graphics from the last few seasons - they've got all of the official alternate artwork in them as well - and there is NO Blue Cardinals alt.
