Using this Drafttek 7 round Consensus mock draft, design your favorite based solely on who was available when the Cards picked in each round according to Drafttek's 7 rounds. For instance, you must pick each round from players picked after whoever Drafttek had shown as our pick. Of course you may keep the player Drafttek gave us if you like.

Now let's see how each of us would have picked differently from the same pool of players. I tried something a little different and went after who I believe is the BPA regardless of position each round. Here is mine:

1. Louis Nix, Notre Dame, DT
2. Kyle Van Noy, BYU, OLB
3. Carlos Hyde, Ohio State, RB
4. Pierre Desir, Lindenwood, CB
5. Jimmie Ward, Northern Illinois, SS
6. Joel Bitonio, Nevada, LOT

instead of nose tackle in the first round i think we have other needs
especially offensive line..arizona at now ( urban said) considering starters cooper and sendlein,,so there will be some changes there and u cant fill those spots just in free agency

I think some people on here are going to have their heads explode, seeing another late round offensive lineman drafted.

I provided a link for those that want to play.

http://www.drafttek.com/2014-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round1.asp

My draft: I actually hate this mock because everybody I'd want for the Cards, Hageman, Ebron, Kouandjio, are already gone)

1- Stephen Tuitt, DE. Justin Gilbert would be hard to pass on though.
2- Kyle Van Noy, OLB(good god, they have the Cards taking Jack Mewhort. That's flat out terrible)
3- Carlos Hyde, RB, No chance he's there, but why not?
4- Robert Herron, WR
5- Shaquille Barrett, OLB
6- Ben Gardner, DE, too good to pass up at this point

1. Jace Amaro (I like him better then Ebron. Looks like Tarzan but inconsistent hands)
2. Paul Richardson WR - Game Breaker
3. Kadeem Carey RB
4. Dee Ford
5. Jimmie Ward SS Northern Illinois
6. Aaron Murray/Zack Mettenberger (i didnt see him in draft?)

This is assuming we address OT in FA

That draft site definitely got a few things wrong. Garoppolo and Dee Ford going in the 5th round? Give me a break. What a joke.

1. Justin Gilbert // CB Oklahoma State
2. Kyle Van Noy // OLB Brigham Young
3. Jimmy Garoppolo // QB Eastern Illinois
4. Dee Ford // OLB Auburn (Pure value pick here, it's a miracle he has lasted this long)
5. Justin Britt // OT Missouri
6. Josh Huff // WR Oregon

I think he can be a good RT but 2nd round is too high. For comparison, I think Bobbie Massie is more talented. Mewhort is more NFL ready but I think you can get a guy in the later rounds and he could develop into just as good a player as Mewhort. He'll probably go earlier, but 4th round is the earliest I would take him.

With the way mine came out (Browns trading into 2nd pick for Manziel) this is how it came out. I would assume the Cards pick up a FA left OT. I still think Van Noy will be picked 12-16 on Day 1 and won't make it to 2nd Round. However, if the 1st 2 rounds went this way for the Cards, I would assume they'd grab Buchanon (SS from Washington) over another OLB in Jeffcoat in the 3rd.

1. Jace Amaro, TE
2. Kyle Van Noy, OLB
3. Jackson Jeffcoat, OLB
4. David Fales, QB
5. Jeoffrey Pagan, DE
6. Kevin Lawson, CB

Fales in the 4th is a good Futures pick in the mid rounds. Instead of Pagan in the 5th, I would go with Britt (OT from Missouri). I would probably go Marion Grice (RB from ASU) over Lawson.
