The Stephen Drew signing is a tremendous boon to an already reasonably strong farm system. As for the major league club, the Padres are beginning to distance themselves, but Javier Vazquez hasn't allowed a walk in five straight starts.

The above is from the Fox Sports Baseball Power rankings! I have never seen anyone say our farm system is good. I keep hearing how horrible it is, yet we keep bringing up good players, IMHO. By the way, we are now 13th, down 2 from last week.
